This children's book, written by Cereal Magazine editor in chief Rosa Park - was created from original drawings made by Rosa's mother. My job was to re-draw the pages, and add colour - but to also try and stick to the original drawings - in keeping with the original idea of a book created by mother and daughter. It was a true pleasure working with Rosa, and my first published illustrated book - so a very meaningful project in my career as an illustrator.

Front cover of the book, with a silver foil printed balloon.

The original drawing, created by Rosa's mother - this page is one of the only double page spreads where I was given greater control over the re-draw to achieve the outcome Rosa was looking for.
